Make the right selection

The details that turn a product enquiry into a useful technical quotation.

Read the nameplate

Send a sharp, straight-on photo showing the complete model designation, serial number and electrical data. If the pump and motor have separate plates, include both. A partial family name can miss an important execution or motor variant.

Vacuum and pressure

State whether your pressure figure is absolute or relative and include the unit. For an evacuation process, provide the vessel volume, target pressure and allowed time. For a porous workpiece or a leaky process, describe the continuous air load.

Dry-running or lubricated?

The choice depends on the process pressure, gas load, operating pattern and maintenance requirements. Dry-running rotary vane equipment and oil-lubricated equipment use different service components and operating arrangements. A technology choice must be checked against the actual duty.

50 Hz and 60 Hz

Confirm the frequency, voltage and phases at the receiving installation. Compare the data for the exact electrical execution; do not assume that a model name carries identical performance in every market. A replacement enquiry should include the existing motor plate.

Plan a vane replacement

Identify the original set by model, serial number and part reference. Follow the applicable equipment manual for inspection, service intervals and replacement procedure. Dimensions and appearance alone cannot establish material or compatibility.
